How to Make
the Perfect
French Fries
When making french fries from scratch, start with the basics: washing and peeling your potatoes.
Wash & peel
potatoes
1
Cut the
Potatoes
Cut potatoes based on the fry style you're looking to achieve, but do so in a uniform fashion to ensure even cooking.
2
Soak & Dry
Your Fries
3
Soaking your fries for at least a few hours will remove excess starch and lead to a crispier fry. Drying will reduce spattering while frying.
Serve Hot!
Serve your french fries within 10 minutes of frying for the optimal consistency.
6
Season
the Fries
Seasoning your fries fresh out of the fryer will allow the spices or seasonings to stick best to the hot oil.
5
Blanch. Fry. Fry.
For the perfect fry, blanch your fries before frying. For the first fry, do so at a lower temperature before frying a second time at a higher one.

Tip: How to animate the wedges to spin from the center.
Each colored wedge is grouped with a transparent square shape, which makes them have the same center point. Since all the wedges have the same center point, when you add a spin animation to each wedge group, they will spin from the same center.
Adding popups to graphs and charts provides the opportunity for information to be discovered. This is a great way to make content more engaging for users.

Tip: How to save time when creating popups for the pie chart.
Create one popup that has the images, text format, animations, and interactions you want the other popups in the pie chart to have. Copy and paste the popup and change the names of the pasted popup folders in the layers panel. In this experience, each popup is named by color. You can then change the text and replace the icons in each popup. This is more efficient than making each popup from scratch.
